Few updates from the Tongham HQ
Ben Nevis Sponsored Climb.
We climbed an amazing 3,207m!. That is Ben Nevis plus Snowden plus Meall Horn in Scotland or 2 Ben Nevis’s and Mam Tor in England. So far we have collected over £2000 towards the new HQ. Well Done everyone involved.
Aviva Community Fund

Planning Permission
Great news! We Have now received formal planning permission from Guildford Borough Council for the new HQ. Next step is to continue raising the funds for the new HQ.

BEN NEVIS SPONSORED CLIMB
As mountains are a bit short on the ground in Surrey, the 4th Farnham (Tongham) Scout Group has decided to use Farnham District’s Climbing Tower at Garners’ Field to collectively climb the tower to at least the height of Ben Nevis, 1,345m. All money raised will go towards the rebuilding of the HQ.
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders, Parents and Siblings can take part, you just have to be at least 6 years of age and reasonably fit. We will be meeting at Garners Field Scout Campsite, Sheephatch Lane, Tilford on Saturday 30th September from 08.30.

Great news at long last planning application is about to go in to Surrey for our new building. Just need £250000. The ball is rolling.
